Richard has extensive aviation and emergency services experience in Reliability Engineering, Maintenance systems and leadership roles.
At QANTAS and then Ansett for 19 years, he was involved with maintenance planning and general maintenance systems solutions for Boeing, Airbus and other aircraft. Since leaving the aviation industry to join the Emergency services Richard has continued to focus on engineering and leadership projects joining Longreach Aerospace in 2012 and then Completions in 2016 as our Senior consultant Aviation Risk, Program, Process and Project Management.
He is the author of numerous technical papers and articles. Richard has numerous qualifications in management and engineering ranging from certificates to a Masters Degree in Engineering and is Alumni of both Monash University and the Australian Institute of Police Management.
Robert (Bob) Bradley is a senior safety management consultant whose experience lies in an extensive aviation career encompassing ground and flight engineering and piloting. During his active flying career, Bob gained his command (Qantas, Boeing 767). Bob has also worked on training and line operational safety audit projects, including human factors course design and facilitation.
During the last seven years Bob has worked as an International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety (IOSA) Lead Auditor and Evaluator, and as the IATA Environmental Assessment Program (IEnvA) Lead Assessor. Both appointments have led to a wide exposure to national and international cultural applications of safety management. The role of IOSA Evaluator includes assessing and training auditors. Bob has also been engaged to act as a consultant to assist the Oceania Division of an international aviation service provider to install a Safety Management System (SMS) and several gap-analysis projects related to risk assessment and safety mitigation actions for international and Australian domestic airlines and an Australian State Government aviation services department.
Bob was born and educated in the United Kingdom and has worked for the Royal Air Force, British Airways Plc and Qantas Airways Ltd. His tertiary qualifications include a Graduate Diploma in Safety Management Systems and Human Factors from the University of South Australia. He is also a qualified IATA & IEnvA Lead Auditor/Assessor.
